How one half of Wet Leg features on Oliver Wilde's song 'Sad Sack'

As the music world watches UK band Wet Leg's meteoric rise to number 1 album with excitement - which they achieved last week - the team at IFL remembered a surprising fact that links them to an office favourite in our catalogue.

'Sad Sack' was a single on Oliver Wilde's 2016 album 'Long Hold Star an Infinite Abduction'. The track features ethereal backing vocals, accompanying Oliver's trademark laid-back lo-fi psychedelic indie style, also known as "shoegaze". It turns out the backing vocals are by Rhian, one half of Wet Leg.

Although Rhian is from the Isle of White, Oliver and her met in Bristol where they both lived and their friendship led to Rhian featuring on 'Sad Sack'.

Listen now and see if you can spot Rhian's vocals...
